What a Showroom Floor Does for the Sale
The benefit is immediate and it is visual. A seamless floor has no grout lines, no tile joints and no seams to break up the room, so nothing interrupts the eye between the door and the product. A gloss finish throws your display lighting back up into whatever is standing on it, which is why cars, furniture and appliances all present better on resin than on tile or bare sealed concrete.
It is also the cheapest surface in the building to look after. There is no grout to scrub, no wax cycle to keep up and nothing to lift and replace in sections. A dust mop and a neutral cleaner keep it looking new, spills wipe off instead of soaking in, and the finish shrugs off the scuffing that makes a retail floor look tired years before it is actually worn out. Most of our showroom clients are replacing a floor that was structurally fine and had simply stopped looking like somewhere you would spend money.
