Pool Houses, Workshops and Detached Garages
A pool cabana takes constant wet traffic and chlorinated splash. Sealed flake handles both without the staining and efflorescence that bare concrete picks up around a pool deck, and the chip texture gives it grip while it is still wet underfoot. Changing rooms and outdoor bathrooms behind the pool are the same job on a smaller scale.
Workshops and hobby garages are where the chip layer earns its keep. Dropped tools, solvent, welding spatter and dragged steel all leave marks that would show plainly on a solid color coat and largely disappear into a chip pattern. Accessory dwelling units are the other common one on these lots. Flake sits directly on the prepared slab with nothing underneath it, so a converted garage keeps every inch of the ceiling height it already has.
