Why Polyaspartic Cures in a Day
A polyaspartic coat reaches walk-on hardness in a few hours and takes vehicle traffic the next day. Epoxy typically wants three to five days before you park on it. That difference matters on a hillside street where the driveway is the staging area and there is nowhere else to put the contents of the garage.
The speed comes from the chemistry, not from cutting corners. Preparation is identical: we diamond-grind the slab to open the pores, chase out any cracks, and vacuum the dust before the first coat goes on. A fast-curing product over an unprepared floor fails just as fast as a slow one.
